WESTNORTH Studio was opened in October 2002.  Since that fall, the studio gallery has exhibited over 60 artists in group shows, and several solo exhibitions. Mounted an exhibition project in conjunction with Experimental Printmaking Institute, Easton PA, that placed the works of five Japanese artists along side works by Richard Anuszkiewicz, Sam Gilliam, Curlee Holton and Faith Ringgold.
Commissioned a short movie by young film maker Changa Bell of Baltimore and presented three sculptural installations, staged several performances that included live Jazz , poetry readings and book signings. In February / March 2004, the studio was among 122 exhibition venues in Baltimore hosting Tour De Clay - an unprecedented alignment of 878 artists from around the world showcasing all possibilities of art in clay. Tour De Clay coincides with the National Council on Education in Clay and Ceramics Arts Conference.

WESTNORTH Studio is Located at 106 W. North Avenue Baltimore, MD 21201, in the Station North Arts @ Entertainment District - Telephone: 410 962 1475. The entrance is eleven steps up from the side walk, unfortunately we do not have wheel chair access. We are only three blocks from PennStation and around the corner from the Charles Theater and several restaurants.

The Station North Arts & Entertainment district was designated in 2002 by the City of Baltimore. The 100 acre district is an important link between East and West Baltimore communities and as a gateway from Downtown and Mt Vernon Cultural District to Charles Village. The district offers entertainment and cultural activity that covers everything from mainstream to undiscovered and underground venues; Performances, Exhibitions, Live entertainment, Theater, and Restaurants are all part of the usual staple.
